ScalaScala1/12Bring home the chaotic and memorable essence of Gremlins (1984) with this accessory pack for NECA's Ultimate figure. Designed to integrate perfectly with the 6‑inch figure, this set transforms your display into a vivid film scene, capturing the wild energy and dark humor that made the saga an absolute cult. An indispensable addition for every collector who wants to complete their collection with fidelity and style.
The Scene
This set brings the action directly into the most iconic and absurd scenes of the 1984 film. The accessory pack captures the visual essence of the movie through a selection of recognizable elements: from the Gremlin cocoon that evokes the mysterious life cycle of the creatures, to Gizmo miniatures that evoke moments of pure domestic madness. The most eccentric details are not missing, such as the distinctive pink racecar and grotesque costumes, including aerobics attire and a ski mask, which complete the visual narrative of this comedic horror legend.
The Character
In the pantheon of 1980s comedic horror, the Gremlin is not simply an antagonist, but the embodiment of uncontrolled chaos. Born from broken obedience—the violation of the rule to not feed a Mogwai after midnight—this creature with scales and sharp claws represents the collapse of rational order before pure destructive instinct. Its narrative arc serves as a catalyst: from simple biological curiosity to sabotage force that turns the quiet town of Kingston into a theater of collective madness. Its importance lies in its ability to subvert horror genre expectations, using technology and urban environment as weapons to create unprecedented urban hysteria. For the collector, capturing this figure means preserving not just a character, but a cinematic ideology: that of joyful, dark chaos that Joe Dante made iconic in 1984, making the Gremlin the ultimate symbol of the era's cinematic anarchy.
Why Collect It
For a NECA collector, this accessory pack is not just a simple addition, but the finishing touch that turns a figure into a visual statement of intent. Deep accessorizing is the true language of the Ultimate line: adding these details means elevating the display, moving from a simple reproduction of the character to an authentic recreation of Gremlin chaos. It is the piece that completes the showcase narrative, confirming your status as stewards of comedic horror cinema history. An investment in pure iconography, ready to capture the eye of every visitor to your collection.
