This 1/12 scale figure captures the character's epic essence, offering collectors a masterful piece that blends design fidelity with stage presence. It’s time to bring the power of the D&D world directly onto your shelf.
The Scene
This figure captures the visual essence of Strongheart the Paladin, faithful to its iconic design from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game line produced by LJN in 1983. The portrayed appearance is that of the classic warrior, reinterpreted at 7‑inch scale, highlighting the distinctive features of the vintage edition and transporting the retro aesthetic straight into the modern collection.
The Character
The true weight of Strongheart in the story of Dungeons & D lies not only in his armor, but in the tragic depth of his narrative arc: he is the quintessential paladin whose loyalty was tested by darkness. Once a trusted companion of Warduke, the destinies of the two warriors intersected fatally when their friend fell under the dark influence of the Heartstone, turning a bond of brotherhood into a deadly enmity. This inner and interpersonal conflict defines the character as a symbol of moral resilience, making him essential not only as a lone hero but as the necessary counterpoint to the great villains of the 80s era, with whom he is destined to share the space in every elite collection.
Why Collect It
It’s not just a figure: it’s the beating heart of every display dedicated to the fantasy world. NECA’s Ultimate line sets the gold standard for collectors seeking the perfect mix of historical fidelity and showroom presentation. Initially reserved for the greatest heroes of Dungeons & Dragons, this series elevates the character from a plaything to an exhibition sculpture, ensuring a level of detail that transcends the simple gadget. Owning Strongheart at this scale means acquiring a piece that speaks of pure passion: an item that, strategically placed among other treasures of the collection, instantly becomes the focal point thanks to its imposing presence and meticulous detail. It’s the kind of piece that elicits friendly envy and immediate questions from every visitor, solidifying the aesthetic and emotional value of your collection. For those who live nerd culture as a life aesthetic, this figure is not a purchase but an indispensable addition to one's collector identity.
