AJAK

Ajak is a cosmic member of the Eternals created by Jack Kirby in 1976 (*The Eternals* #2), serving as the primary liaison and communicator between Earth's Eternals and the alien Celestials. Traditionally depicted as a male Polar Eternal worshipped in ancient Mesoamerica as Quetzalcoatl and Tecumotzin, the character was gender-swapped in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film *Eternals* (portrayed by Salma Hayek), a change subsequently integrated into Marvel Comics continuity where she became Ajak Celestia.
