DESERT RANGER

The Desert Rangers are an iconic faction of independent survivalists and lawmen in the Fallout universe, originating from the Nevada badlands. Inspired by the historical Texas Rangers and conceived as an homage to the 1988 video game Wasteland, they spent decades protecting wasteland settlers across the Southwest before merging into the New California Republic Rangers under the Ranger Unification Treaty of 2271.
