Rocco Giocattoli Monchhichi Articulated Kauri Figure

Kauri embodies the beating heart of the Monchhichi saga, a character born in 1974 from the mind of Yoshiharu Washino for Sekiguchi Corporation with the noble goal of spreading love and affection. More than just a toy, this character has built a narrative arc that took him from Japanese origins to becoming a progenitor of international pop‑culture, dominating European and North American screens in the ’80s through anime, stop‑motion, and CGI TV series. Its meaning lies in the ability to evoke a golden age of animation, making it a foundational pillar for collectors who seek not only kawaii aesthetics but also the authentic tradition of one of the world’s longest‑lasting and beloved franchises, with a deep-rooted presence in the Italian market thanks to its historic distribution as “Mon Cicci”.
