Originating from the Ultimate line, this collectible piece offers a high‑level visual and tactile experience, designed to accentuate the character’s stage presence on your display. It’s not just a figure: it’s the definitive entry into the heart of the TMNT universe, ready to dominate any collector’s display.
The Scene
This sculpture captures the essence of the 2020 animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, positioning Odyn at the core of a dystopian, ruined New York City. The figure faithfully recreates the look of the second ninja spider, trained by Casey Marie, characterized by a red scarf and swirling bandages that define his unique style. Equipped with multiple ninja weapons, the figurine perfectly evokes the dark, combative atmosphere of the feature film, offering collectors a precise rendition of this iconic moment in the TMNT saga.
The Character
In the narrative tapestry of the Ronin‑verse, Odyn is not simply a new face, but the symbol of resilience and continuity of the ninja tradition in a dystopian future. Captured and mutated by Casey Marie Jones, this young mutant embodies the rainbow of hope and challenge of the new generation, destined to inherit the testimony of martial arts after the tragedies that marked the timeline of The Last Ronin. His role resonates deeply with themes of sacrifice and rebirth, offering collectors the opportunity to own a fundamental piece of this modern evolution of the TMNT myth. For those closely following IDW publications and the prequel and sequel series such as Lost Years and Re‑Evolution, this figure represents the essential completion of a team that includes Yi, Uno and Moja, allowing a visual reconstruction of the new hero dynasty reshaping the Ninja Turtles universe.
Why Collect It
For an NECA collector, the Ultimate Odyn represents much more than a simple addition to the line: it is the tangible testimony of how an iconic license can evolve while preserving its soul. In a display dedicated to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this 7‑inch figure stands out for its ability to balance the modern aesthetic of the animated film with the sturdy construction that defines the Ultimate line. It’s not just about owning a character, but about safeguarding a piece of pop‑culture history that celebrates ninja resilience in impeccably physical form. It’s the type of piece that, once placed, elevates the entire display, giving your exhibition space that narrative depth and aesthetic value that only NECA’s selected editions can guarantee.
