The Scene
This statuette faithfully recreates Slash’s iconic appearance as the enemy boss in both the arcade and SNES version of the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (1991). The design is based on the animated version of the eponymous film, capturing the character’s specific look as encountered during gameplay, a crucial reference for collectors seeking an accurate representation of this chapter of the Ninja Turtles saga.
The Character
In the vast universe of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Slash is not just a simple antagonist but the embodiment of the brutal, wild threat the series has conveyed since its beginnings. Introduced in 1991, this mutant race set a new standard for final bosses: a fighter with explosive power and a mad personality, capable of putting even the boldest heroes of the series to the test. His significance transcends a single clash; he represents the peak narrative tension, the moment when the challenge becomes epic and adrenaline reaches its peak. For collectors, owning Slash means keeping not only a figure but a symbol of video game and animation history, a fundamental piece that closes the heroic arc of the Turtles and defines the ultimate challenge.
