This is not merely a figure, but a declaration of intent for the most discerning collectors, who seek the raw, unfinished essence of McFarlane's original art. Step into the orbit of 40k with a piece that combines the precision of the Warhammer 40,000 line with the intrinsic rarity of an artist's proof, ready to take center stage in your display.
The scene
This edition captures the raw essence of McFarlane's sculpture: a gray, unpainted plastic model, ready to be personalized. The figure portrays the Blood Angels Assault Intercessor Sergeant, presented in its pure, tactile form, ideal for collectors who wish to bring their own painting style to this Warhammer 40,000 warrior.
The character
In the vast theatre of war of Warhammer 40,000, the Blood Angels Assault Intercessor Sergeant embodies the terrible nobility of Sanguinius's sons. He is not a mere soldier, but the vanguard of the Chapter's close support forces: his role is to charge headlong into enemy lines, with heavy Bolt pistols thundering before slashing foes with mortal chainsword sweeps. Officially introduced in the 9th Edition Codex: Space Marines, this character represents the pinnacle of the Chapter's martial fury, combining the tactical agility of the Mark X Tacticus armour with the iconic ferocity of assault infantry. For collectors, he is more than a threat on the tabletop; he is a symbol of the Chapter's iron discipline and combative power that defines the millennia-long history of the Astartes.

Why collect it
It is more than a figure: it is the privilege of owning the original work, the raw sculpture that birthed an icon of the Legion. In a line where painted variants often conceal the artist's hand, this Artist Proof offers you the ultimate blank canvas. It is the piece that separates a casual owner from a true collector: a cult item for those who appreciate the transparency of the creative process and the rarity of a specimen never destined for mass production. Showcase it not as a toy, but as a statement of intent: here your passion for Warhammer 40,000 goes beyond watching the war, shaping its very form.
