MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticOkarun comes to life in this 7‑inch McFarlane Toys action figure, capturing the chaotic and playful essence of Dandadan with an immediate stage presence. A cult piece for collectors who want to bring the series' cosmic chaos right onto their shelf.
The scene
The figure recreates Ken Takakura's standard school look, known as Okarun, exactly as it appears in the animated series Dandadan (2024). The focus is on faithfully rendering the high school uniform, a key element for recognizing the character in his original form, before the more extreme transformations that define the plot.
The character
Ken Takakura, whose alter‑ego Okarun has become the unmistakable face of the series, fully embodies the narrative heart of Dandadan. His arc transforms a marginalized boy tormented by deep insecurities into a formidable paranormal investigator, a change catalyzed by his partnership with Momo Ayase. This partnership, formed to investigate aliens and spirits, draws him into chaotic and spectacular supernatural battles, making him the ideal protagonist of one of the most acclaimed franchises of recent years. For collectors, Okarun is not just a character: he is the essence of modern action, a pillar for anyone following the universe created by Yukinobu Tatsu on Shonen Jump+ and its subsequent anime adaptation.
Why collect it
It isn’t just a statue: it’s the turning point of Dandadan, the moment when chaos becomes legend. Having Okarun on your shelf means owning a piece of modern animation history, an icon that represents the creative boldness of the series. This McFarlane Toys figure isn’t just a simple accessory, but a statement of belonging for those who followed Ken Takakura’s rise. It’s the kind of piece that draws eyes and envy: an investment in passion that preserves its value over time, turning your collection into a personal museum of unforgettable moments. Put it on display and let it speak for you.
