ScalaScala1/144The legendary Takemikazuchi Type-00R, an absolute icon of Muv-Luv Alternative, comes to life in this 1/12 scale model by Kotobukiya. A PVC artwork that captures the essence of the franchise's most beloved mecha, giving collectors a rare and desirable piece for their display.
The Scene
The distinctive purple paint of the Type-00R is not just aesthetic; it immediately identifies the aircraft as the Shogun of Japan's personal Tactical Surface Fighter. This exclusive livery, faithful to Muv-Luv Alternative's canonical depiction, stands as a symbol of authority and supreme power, setting it apart from other operational units and giving the scene a high-profile narrative weight within the saga.
The Character
More than a simple war machine, the Type-00R embodies the absolute pinnacle of Japanese TSF technology, built for the Imperial Guardian and reserved exclusively for the Shogun. Its fate is inextricably linked with that of Mitsurugi Meiya, who receives this customized unit at Yokohama Base, optimized for maximum performance ahead of the climax of Muv-Luv Alternative. During Operation Ouka, this mecha—symbol of supremacy in close combat with the blade—reaches its narrative apex, becoming the saga's ultimate hero. For collectors, owning this model means holding the tangible representation of the most crucial and glorious moment of the entire series.
Why Collect It
For a collector, acquiring this Takemikazuchi Type-00R means securing a piece of Japanese model history. It's not just about displaying an aircraft; it's about owning the pinnacle of Muv-Luv Alternative's military engineering, a work that elevates the concept of a 'collectible' thanks to Kotobukiya's artisanal precision.
