The Scene
In this figure, Asha is immortalized in her iconic look, wearing the distinctive purple dress that accompanies her for most of the film Wish. The scene faithfully recreates an everyday, intimate moment of the protagonist, as she holds her diary—a key narrative element driving the story’s development. This depiction captures the essence of the determined, dream‑like young woman, offering collectors a faithful representation of the character as she appears on screen.
Character
The real heart of this figure lies in Asha’s deep narrative arc, which transcends her role as a simple tourist guide in the Kingdom of Rosas. Her story is a powerful ode to resilience and idealism: the discovery that the Magnificent King is unjustly hoarding the deepest desires of his citizens turns her goodness into a revolutionary force. It’s not just a girl expressing a wish; it’s an altruistic act that descends directly from the heavens, invoking the celestial being "Star" and granting Asha the power needed to fight for her kingdom’s freedom. This dynamic positions her as a central figure in Disney animation’s storyline, embodying the courage to confront injustice through compassion. For collectors, owning this figure means holding a symbol of hope and peaceful rebellion—an essential element for those who follow the evolution of Disney heroines and their growing narrative complexity in recent productions.
Why Collect It
Owning this figure means not only preserving a cinematic memory but also acquiring a tangible piece of Disney’s new era, where the star emblem becomes a symbol of hope and determination. Jakks Pacific’s line of poseable miniatures is designed for collectors seeking versatility: the ability to recreate dynamic scenes or display the figurine in unique poses makes every sculpted detail the star of your showcase.
