ScalaAltezzaScala1/18Altezza5.5 cmWicket W. Warrick and Kneesaa A'rii Ote, the two unforgettable faces of Return of the Jedi, return home in this two-figure set from the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection line. A duo that needs no introduction: they are the beating heart of the Ewoks and the Sullastan, ready to find their exact place on your display.
The Scene
The figures capture the distinctive aesthetic of the 1985 animated TV series Star Wars: Ewoks, set in the Moon Forest of Endor. Unlike live-action film portrayals, this version pays homage to their appearance in cartoon form, with designs and colors faithful to the era’s graphic style.
The Characters
Although their cinematic appearances in Return of the Jedi made them iconic, the true narrative heart of Wicket and Kneesaa beats in the adventures of the expanded universe. Wicket, the brave young scout of Bright Tree village, is more than a passive sidekick: he discovered Princess Leia Organa and mobilized the tribe to aid the Rebel Alliance, demonstrating crucial initiative during the Battle of Endor. Beside him, Kneesaa is not just a playmate but the village princess and a local noble figure, sharing the early explorations of Endor’s forests. This pair embodies the deep bond between Ewok leadership and the tribe’s pioneering spirit, a dynamic that goes far beyond a simple military alliance against the Empire, rooting the characters in the history and culture of their homeland.
Why Collect
In a display, this pair is more than a memory; it’s an emotional bridge to the golden era of 80s toys. The 3.75‑inch scale of Star Wars: The Vintage Collection is the most coveted format among purist collectors, faithfully reproducing the packaging and original size of Kenner figures, offering a tactile and visual experience that larger modern lines cannot replicate. Having Wicket and Kneesaa together in a single two‑pack turns two simple items into a piece of cultural history: it represents the perfect fusion of the cinematic masterpiece Return of the Jedi and the pure nostalgia of the animated series. It’s the kind of piece that completes the story, adding a touch of warmth and authenticity that lifts the entire collection beyond mere accumulation of figures, turning it into a lasting tribute to an irreplicable era of collecting.
