MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticThe Force Ghost version of Anakin Skywalker, taken from Return of the Jedi, returns to Hasbro's Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. This 1:18 scale action figure, faithful to the original Kenner design, captures the character's ethereal essence in a compact and iconic format. It’s the perfect piece for those seeking authenticity of the Vintage line in their display.
The Scene
This variant does not replicate a specific moment from Return of the Jedi, but captures Anakin Skywalker during his Padawan training in Star Wars Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999). The scene shows the young Jedi in training, practicing lightsaber combat and deflecting shots from a training drone, wearing the distinctive training helmet.
The Character
Anakin Skywalker’s return as a Force Ghost is not just a visual cameo, but the emotional and narrative climax of a tragic arc that spans the entire original trilogy. His evolution—from slave boy on Tatooine to fallen Jedi—finds its ultimate redemption only in the moment he saves his son Luke and defeats the Emperor. This figure embodies the symbolism of his return to the Light Side, representing the peace achieved after confronting his dark past. For collectors, this aspect is essential to complete the narrative line of Return of the Jedi, alongside other spiritual presences such as Yoda and Obi‑Wan Kenobi, closing the circle of the Skywalker family saga.
Why Collect It
Placing this figure on display celebrates one of the saga’s most evocative moments, forever capturing the mystical calm of a redeemed hero. The iconic Kenner‑style card, unmistakable symbol of the Vintage Collection, turns the item into a piece of collecting history, where the 3.75‑inch format and vintage design converge to create timeless aesthetic value. It is not merely an addition to a collection, but a tangible tribute to Star Wars’ narrative mastery, capable of evoking a nostalgic thrill every time the room’s light caresses its ethereal silhouette.
