ScalaAltezzaScala1/12Altezza15.24 cmThe Canto Bight scene comes alive with the iconic presence of DJ, the Black Series DJ, ready to mix the galaxy’s frequencies. This 6‑inch figure captures the essence of the character in a 1:12 scale, offering collectors a precise and detailed addition to their Star Wars: The Black Series display.
The Scene
The figure shows DJ at the height of his infiltration: dressed in the long coat and turban that conceal his true identity while moving through the lights and shadows of the city‑casino of Canto Bight. This scene, taken from Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017), is defined by the tension of deception and the character’s faux elegance, ready to operate in the beating heart of the galaxy.
The Character
Within the narrative fabric of The Last Jedi, DJ represents the ideological friction that undermines the certainty of absolute good. His mantra, “Never Unite,” is not simple indolence, but a clear and cynical response to war: for him, the galactic conflict is not a battle between light and darkness, but an arms‑manufacturing industry where every faction is a client. This figure, based on Benicio del Toro’s portrayal, captures that very isolation: he is not a Resistance hero nor a First Order soldier, but an outsider moving in the shadows of Canto Bight aboard the Supremacy with the sole goal of surviving the system. For the collector, this version is essential to complete the narrative of the Spin‑Off Trilogy missions, offering an indispensable look at the criminal underworld and the marginal figures that influence the saga’s main events.
Why Collect It
The Black Series is not just a line; it’s a standard of excellence for those who appreciate artisanal fidelity and narrative depth. This 6‑inch figure embodies the threatening elegance of Canto Bight, turning a simple display accessory into a true museum piece. Its value lies in the ability to capture the character’s essence with a precision that only great collectors recognize: every detail of the costume, the enigmatic posture, and the quality of the materials elevate the object beyond a simple reproduction, making it an indispensable prestige element to complete your showcase. Owning DJ means possessing not only a character, but a pivotal moment of the saga, preserved in a form that promises to remain an icon over time, appreciated by those seeking uncompromising authenticity and visual impact.
