ScalaAltezzaScala1/18Altezza190.5 cmMoff Jerjerrod, a key figure of the Empire’s military bureaucracy, arrives in this edition of Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. It’s a collectible that captures the essence of classic Kenner design, ideal for those seeking historical accuracy and a touch of pure nostalgia.
The Scene
The depicted scene is from Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983), in the context of the film’s 40th anniversary. The figure captures Moff Jerjerrod as he oversees the construction of the second Death Star, directly interacting with Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.
The Character
The true weight of Moff Tiaan Jerjerrod lies not just in his rank, but in the narrative anguish he embodies: he is the man crushed between two opposing powers. On one side, the relentless pressure of Emperor Palpatine; on the other, the terrifying presence of Darth Vader, as he commands the construction of the second Death Star above Endor. In Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, Jerjerrod represents the Empire’s bureaucracy on the brink of collapse, a memorable antagonist for his dense dialogue and pivotal role in the film’s opening act. He isn’t just a simple subordinate, but the symbol of the fragility of a military system that, even at the height of its power, must manage a titanic project under the ominous gaze of the Sith Lord.
Why Collect It
Adding Moff Jerjerrod to your display means completing a fundamental piece of the Empire puzzle, often overlooked by collectors who focus solely on top commanders. In a line like The Vintage Collection, where value lies in roster consistency and historical fidelity, this figure offers a rare opportunity to enhance your exhibit with a support character who, thanks to his iconic film presence, possesses unmatched narrative authenticity. He’s more than just another soldier or officer: he’s tangible evidence of the bureaucracy that made the Empire possible, a piece that elevates the profile of any collection dedicated to the era of the original trilogy, confirming the depth and completeness of your investment.
