MaterialeABS Plastic, PlasticMaterialeABS Plastic, PlasticHasbro's Indiana Jones Adventure Series Marion Ravenwood figure captures the essence of the cinematic legend in a 6‑inch statuette, ready to be the centerpiece of your collection. This official line piece turns the iconic adventure into a display item, providing collectors with a precise and detailed entry point into the world of the famed archaeologist.
The Scene
The figure faithfully recreates Marion Ravenwood's iconic look as the bar owner in Kathmandu and adventurer in the sands of Cairo, as seen in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). The costume is distinguished by the embroidered white shirt paired with red pants, a sartorial detail that defines the character in key film sequences.
The Character
Marion Ravenwood's narrative value lies in her ability to subvert the clichés of the female action role: she is not a simple damsel in distress but an autonomous and resilient figure, daughter of archaeologist Abner Ravenwood, who runs her own bar in Kathmandu with a determination equal to Indiana Jones's. Her arc is defined by holding the key to the search for the Ark of the Covenant, the Headpiece of the Staff of Ra, making her a key player in the global hunt for the artifact. Her importance in the franchise is cemented by the opening scene, where she challenges local patrons and confronts the formidable Major Toht, establishing herself as the definitive female protagonist of the saga and as the essential complement to complete 1:12 scale dioramas alongside the main archaeologist.
Why Collect It
For a collector, this figure is more than an item—it's the key to completing the saga’s physical narrative. Hasbro's Indiana Jones Adventure Series represents a benchmark for those seeking 6‑inch pieces that capture the authentic essence of the golden age of adventure cinema. Owning this Marion means having a vital piece on display that dialogues with her adventure companions, enhancing the overall aesthetic and thematic value of the collection. It is a piece that turns the shelf into a memory gallery, where each figure tells a story and this one, in particular, reminds why the adrenaline and allure of a certain type of cinema endure.
