MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticThe legend of Dragon Ball Z comes to life at 1/12 scale through the mastery of Bandai Spirits S.H.Figuarts line. This figurine captures the pure and protective essence of Son Goku in his role as the kind-hearted Saiyan, turning an anime icon into a precious collectible piece. A must‑have addition for those seeking the perfect balance between fidelity to the original design and high‑level build quality.
The Scene
The figure faithfully recreates Son Goku’s iconic appearance in his base form, as seen in Dragon Ball Z (1989). He wears the traditional orange and blue martial arts gi, without symbols, which defines his classic look throughout the series. This representation captures the essence of the Saiyan raised on Earth, providing collectors with a pure and recognizable snapshot of the character in his simplest form.
The Character
Within the narrative fabric of Dragon Ball Z, Son Goku is not merely a warrior, but the embodiment of rare and fundamental purity of spirit. His intrinsically good nature, often described as his most distinctive quality, is not just a character trait, but the key that unlocks legendary powers: it is this moral integrity that allows him to ride the Nimbus and resist dark and corrupting techniques such as the Devilmite Beam. This 'Kind‑hearted Saiyan' version celebrates exactly that aspect, positioning Goku as the ultimate defender of a universe threatened by intergalactic dangers. For collectors, this figure represents the beating heart of the shonen saga, capturing the boundless optimism and compassion that have made the character an enduring icon since his manga debut in 1984.
