ScalaAltezzaScala1/12Altezza18 cmThe legendary Pegasus armor comes to life in a dynamic 18 cm sculpture, part of the Saint Cloth Myth Ex line from Bandai Spirits. This figure captures Seiya's epic essence with a level of detail that turns every pose into a moment of pure action, offering collectors a vital piece for any display dedicated to Saint Seiya.
The scene
This sculpture captures the exact moment of Odysseus' appearance in Saint Seiya: Next Dimension (2006), depicted wearing the legendary 13th Gold Cloth. The pose faithfully reproduces his first manifestation, with the staff in hand and the Ophiuchus-shaped object clearly visible, recreating the mystical and solemn atmosphere of his debut in the anime.
The character
Beyond his simple warrior status, Odysseus embodies the ultimate apex of the Gold Saints hierarchy, being the reincarnation of Asclepius, the god of medicine. His narrative arc transcends the bounds of ordinary combat: holder of the divine golden blood, he possesses healing and regeneration powers that make him comparable to a divine entity. His importance in the saga is cemented by the supreme sacrifice made to save Dohko and Shion, an act that indelibly marked Athena's history and made him the most enigmatic and feared character in Saint Seiya mythology. This figure represents not just another zodiac member but the key to understanding the secret of the 13th sign, a fundamental pillar for those seeking to reconstruct the complete chronology of Masami Kurumada's stories, including the events of the 18th arc.
Why collect it
For a discerning collector, the Saint Cloth Myth Ex is not just a simple accessory, but a statement of intent: it is the ultimate choice for those looking for the perfect balance between manga fidelity and superior build quality. Adding this figure to your display elevates Saint Seiya's presence above standard editions, leveraging the superior articulation and ultra-fine details typical of the Ex line. It is the piece that turns a collection into a curated exhibition, where every centimeter tells the mastery of Bandai Spirits and the deep mythology of the franchise. It is more than an action figure; it is the destination for those who have appreciated the saga and want to possess the most refined and complete interpretation of this legendary chapter.
