Helldivers is a satirical sci-fi military shooter franchise created by Johan Pilestedt and developed by Arrowhead Game Studios under publisher Sony. Set in a dystopian future governed by Super Earth's totalitarian 'managed democracy,' players control elite shock troops deployed via drop pods to fight multi-front galactic wars. The franchise consists of two main video game releases launched in 2015 and 2024.
